Niecy Nash Gets Fox Pilot Greenlight

Niecy Nash ("Clean House," "Reno 911") is set to star in "The Inn," a new pilot for Fox.  It's loosely based on the 70s PBS Masterpiece Theatre series, "Upstairs/Downstairs"  but with a twist, this updated version is set in a hip NYC hotel.

The half-hour, multi-camera comedy pilot from 20th Century Fox TV will be written and executive produced by "Arrested Development" executive story editor Abraham Higginbotham.

Fox originally picked up the 20th Century Fox TV/Reveille/Principato-Young project in late October with a put pilot commitment.  According to Variety, Peter Principato, Paul Young and Brian Dobbins are on board as executive producers.  Reveille and Principato-Young are also producers.
