Thriller 25 -- the newly-expanded deluxe
25th anniversary edition of Michael Jackson's Thriller, the world's
best-selling album of all-time -- is the #2 top-selling album this week,
more than a quarter century after the album's original release. Already
shaping up as one of the hottest albums of 2008, Thriller 25 has rocketed into
the Top 5 (or better) in a variety of territories across the planet following
its worldwide release the week of February 11.

Harve Pierre has been named President of Bad
Boy Records. Pierre will continue to report directly to Bad Boy Entertainment founder and
CEO Sean "P Diddy" Combs,
and as President, he will oversee the finance, creative, promotional,
marketing, A&R, International, and Sales divisions at the label. In
addition, his Crazy Joint production imprint will develop artists and
projects for the Bad Boy label. Bad Boy Records is a worldwide joint
venture between Bad Boy Worldwide Entertainment Group and Warner Music
Group.

Janet Jackson's
upcoming studio album will be titled "Discipline" and will hit stores
first in Japan on Feb. 20, 2008 and then in the U.S. on
Feb. 26. The lead single, 'Feedback,' was leaked on the internet
earlier this week. The track was produced by
Rodney "Darkchild" Jerkins.

AMERICAN GANGSTER. Separate from the official motion picture
soundtrack, this collection of all-new original material is a musical
journey and lyrical interpretation of snapshots from the upcoming

Washington and Russell Crowe.

According to Nielsen SoundScan, Kanye West's Graduation took the tp spot on the Billboard 200 chart, defeating 50 Cent's Curtis
by more than 250,000 records. West moved 957,000 during its first
six days while 50 Cent sold 691,000
copies.
